Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
Strong command of spoken and written English
Excellent tajweed and Qur’an recitation skills
Preference will be given to an applicant with the following:
Ijazah in one or more riwayat
TQE certification
Hafidha
Prior experience teaching Qur’an online (preferred)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Online Qur’an Teacher to deliver high-quality Qur’an instruction in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate is able to create a warm, engaging, and respectful online classroom experience for students of varying levels
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Qur’an recitation with proper tajweed to students online
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and levels
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve fluency and accuracy
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and preparedness for all sessions
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and spiritually uplifting learning environment
• Communicate effectively regarding attendance, progress, and concerns
Schedule
• Weekday evenings
• Weekend mornings
• Consistent availability during assigned time slots is required
